Mi Decreto dela Danza

minsan, in our lives, mejo mauumay na tayo. i think in this part of my life, i wanted something new. i needed to shed my skin just like caterpillars use to become bigger. well, in my case i need not to shed to become bigger, asa pa ako. pero, this time, i shed to feel like new again.

if you will notice, the last time i blogged was when i arrived from our ilocos trip. that was a long time ago, about two months na. the time i wasn’t blogging was the time i spent time studying and training and dancing. yesterday lang officially nag-start ang summer vacation ko. kasi, i needed to repeat an ES subject which i passed (hopefully!). also, i trained for pep squad – my dream. aww. and, we practiced and choreographed 2 dance routines for upstage, a dance competition whose beneficiaries include incoming freshman.

for my acads, they’re good. my first exam worth 99.67% was my saving grace. if not for it, i may have repeated ES11, AGAIN! but, thanks to God and my determination i pushed through. and, i thought i passed. according to my assessment, i passed. i calculated it right, and i think, i passed. wah. haha. as for the other subject, english10. i saw my grade online na. and i got a 2.25. it was not that bad. knowing all my paper work was not that thought of. haha. it is not that i did not think of it, i just did not maximized the use of my mind. usually, feelings came in first before logical thinking.

for the pep squad, i sure hope na they take me in. we were only three sa batch. i mean, three lang kaming applicants this summer – archie, abi and me. abi holds the snare. archie and i drums the bass. haha. it was fun. masakit lang sa arms when they ask us to use our non-dominant hand. after excercises medyo numb yung arms ko. ang hirap magtext. anyway, ibig sabihin lang noon an we do things right. i really hope na thay admit us into the squad. *crossed fingers*

as for the dancing, as i’ve said we made two routines. one is marked 3 minutes and the other 5. yung 3 minutes, for the auditions pa lang yun. tapos yung 5 minutes, para sa finals. well, we made it through the auditions kahit na when we were performing na-blanko lahat ang isip namin and we were just marching those two-eights that we missed. it was funny. kasi kahit na we didnt remember the steps pare-pareho kami ng march na it looked liked it was part of the routine. anyway, we got the news na nakapasok kami sa 12 and misunderstanding it as we were 12th – which was not true kasi random daw yun. on the night itself, we were all so happy kasi nearly flawless daw yung routine namin. and the judge said that there was so much energy and we had good choreography. (we were thinking nasaan na yung good-looking part? haha) masaya naman kami kahit na we didnt win. if i remember it right ang score namin ay 89.25% and the third placer is 90.25% well, one point away lang kami from winning.

well that is all for now. i need to finish my batch info document kasi frauey needs it na. and also, i need to finish contacting the workers of the new IEC logo. haha. a batch rep’s got to do what i got to do. argh. sobrang nahihiya nga ako kasi hindi ko siya nagagawa kasi may practice gabi-gabi. sa morning naman, hindi din kasi may pep squad training gn 7am. sabi naman ni frau, i need to make bawi na lang. so, i will make bawi.

also, i just came home from a family outing at batangas. maganda yung place. but, the time spent there is too short. grabe, nakakabitin. we went snorkeling and saw fish talaga. there were coral reefs. it was then that i remembered na may diving spot nga pala sa batangas. also, i saw the way to balayan. if i remember it right, dun nakatira sa tonton. i just figured out how mucht ravel time tonton goes through every time he goes home. well, the vacation was really good. especially when you just came from a very tough night. mind you, the upstage competition ended at 1am and i arrived home at about 2am. we left home at around 5am. talk about being excited!

anyway, we will be repainting the tambayan on june 2 and i will be enrolling on june 4.

grabe. one whole week lang talaga bakasyon ko for the academic year. tsktsk. if you count out the enrollement, two weeks. but, wala namang nakakatapos sa amin gn enrollment in a day. that would be a miracle.

it is better blogging in taglish. well, i dont sound conyo naman. haha. pero, wala namang masama sa pagiging conyo. is there? haha. i learned this in english. na it is better to use taglish in writing your thoughts. mas mabilis ang flow. at mas reader friendly. thank you ma’am! also, this time, my entry titles will be song titles as well. since this blog is themed as dance, it is better that way. anyway, all songs can be danced!
